Mother
Her words cut into my soul,
Like a razor
Lacerating and destroying
Tears stain my cheeks
Silent rivers of pain
Carving their patterns into my face
The music screams in my ears
Loud and reckless
A sound to cover my cries
She is supposed to be my saviour,
A person who loves and protects me
Instead she only hurts and destroys.
Words are screamed
Breaking our carefully constructed silence
A flimsy facade of peace
I run, run far away
Away from her and my sorrow
My tears distorting the world
But my sorrow always catches me,
Its claws grasp and pull me down
It brings me down and envelops me
I lie there, my spirit broken

Haruka smiled to herself as she strolled along the pavement a small bag of groceries in her hand. Michiru walked calmly alongside her keeping a close eye on Hotaru who skipped merrily taking in the sights around her. Her short black hair fluttered in the breeze along with her stripy purple dress. Her giggles floated back towards them as the small adoptive family strolled in the sun. Haruka glanced at Michiru taking in her beauty. Her curly aqua hair rested at her shoulders, and her light green eyes sparkled with mirth, a small smile resting on her light pink lips. She must have felted Harukas gaze upon her because Michiru t

Merely Lust, another poem
Merely Lust
Lips touch
Limbs entwine
Hearts beat
Passionate kisses
Fiery embraces
Moans of ecstasy
Two lovers touch
Wanting to become one
Fingers trail along soft skin
Under the moonlight
They shed their clothes
And express their love
The next morning
An empty bed
Satin sheets cool
Her eyes weep liquid salt
He has left her for another
Shattering her delicate heart
She morns her loss
Her foolishness
Tears flooding her cheeks
She knows the truth now
It was never love
Merely lust.

The aroma of the brewing coffee roused Wilbur from his sleep. He moaned weakly, burying his head into the soft pillow, his usually perfect hair, strewn and loose. He heard the sound of a shower starting and resigned himself to his fate. He pushed himself up, before crawling out of bed. Rubbing his bleary eyes he walked out to the kitchen, his feet soundless on the thick carpet.
He reached the kitchen and poured himself a cup of the freshly brewed coffee, before slumping in a stool at the counter. His dark eyes peered into the equally dark liquid. He heard the shower stop, and knew that he was going to have some company in his tiredn
Heart
Heartbreak
Tears of scarlet
A body cold and ashen
Halting breaths
Fingers clutching vainly
At a blood slick blade
Pearly tears join
The droplets of red
Splashing in unison on the tiled floor
Her legs crumple
Beneath her
Pulling her to the floor
Head meets tile
In a sickening crack
Echoing
The blood pools
Below her
Sticky yet smooth
It spreads
Dying her clothes
Red
Her heart stops
Matching her breath
Eyes dull and lifeless
The moon rises
Highlighting the still corpse
Heartbroken
